Robert Hugh Palmer, 57, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo . He was born July 26, 1957 to the late Rube Palmer and the late Era Williams Palmer in Fulton. He was a member of Norris Chapel Baptist Church. He was a true cowboy, enjoying training, and trail riding his horses. He placed 10th in the world in racking horse competition in 2009. After graduating from Mantachie High School, He worked for Lane Furniture in Verona & Saltillo as a frame builder until his early retirement. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two Sons, Terry (Glenda) Palmer of Mantachie, and Barry Palmer of Shannon, seven grandchildren, Christian Palmer of Mantachie, Cindra Palmer of Mantachie, Tristin Palmer of Shannon, Cheyenne Palmer of Shannon, Jason Palmer of Shannon, Darin Palmer of Shannon, eight Sisters, Mary (Ernie) Bolin of Red Bay, AL, Eleanor (Bill) Linley of Red Bay, AL, Ruby Faye Pettigo of Marietta, Peggy (Charles) Pedigo of Dumas, MS, Linda (Billy) Kemp of Fulton, Wonda (James) Clayton of Fulton, Kaye Colburn of Mantachie, Teresa Share of Fayetteville, AR, four Brothers, Jimmy (Brenda) Palmer of Baldwyn, Billy Palmer of Zion, IL, Howard Palmer of Fulton, Charles (Gail) Palmer of Marietta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister, Rebecca Patterson, three Brothers, Easel Palmer, Johnny Edwin Palmer, Sammy Palmer.
