Robert Houston Anderson, age 74,of Alabaster, AL passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Blankenship to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Robert was born on June 8, 1948 in Sulligent, AL to the late Denmon Felix Anderson and the late Edwina Christine South. He attended Sulligent High School. Robert was the owner of Robert Anderson Trucking, Inc., later known as Pelham Tank Lines, Inc. He was a member of Alabama Racing Pioneers and enjoyed watching Nascar, playing golf, hunting, deep sea fishing, and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
