Dr. Robert Henry Creech, 76 of Brownsboro, Alabama went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. A man of great faith who was a kind, loving, compassionate husband, father and grandfather, lived life passionately with a heartfelt drive towards caring for those who, like him, had diabetes. Dr. Creech dedicated his life to medicine helping improve and enhance the lives of many who came from across the southeast for his special care, empathy, and compassion. Being one of the first physicians to wear and prescribe the insulin pump to being on the cutting edge of diabetic care, many of his patients lived longer, healthier, and fuller lives due to Dr. Creech’s care. Dr. Creech’s dedication to his patients was unfaltering as he continued to care for his patients, fulfilling his promise to them that he would not retire. He also lived what he advocated for, eating healthy and being active and fit throughout his life with some of his favorite activities being road biking, running, walking, playing tennis and spending time with all the wonderful dogs that were blessed to have him in their lives. He was a supportive husband, father, and “Pap” with always having kindness, a positive outlook, and a smile that brought warmth to any heart. He leaves behind the unwavering and never forgotten love for him and continues to make a positive impact in people’s lives each and every day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Daisy Creech. He is survived by his wife, Nelian Creech of Brownsboro; children, Laurel Creech of Nashville, TN, Juliana Draper (Barry) of Madison, and Clay Phillips (Kimberly) of Brownsboro; grandchildren, Hunter Phillips of Gurley, Bailee Phillips (Eliyah Bellamy) of Gurley and Madison Draper of Madison; and sister, Bonnie Volk (Chuck) of Pittsburgh, PA. He also is survived by his trusted canine companions, Rico Sauvé and Miss Sassie.
