Mr. Robert Earl Brazelton Mr. Robert Earl Brazelton was born January 8, 1954 in Madison County, Alabama to the late Thelbert Brazelton and Henrietta Brazelton, who both preceded him in death. On August 30, 2023 around 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville Hospital, God called, and he answered his call and transitioned into heavenly peace to be with the Lord.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Acklin Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in the Berkley Community where Rev. Joe C. Kelly is currently the Pastor.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jeffery T. Brazelton of Huntsville, AL.

Robert was best known for his love of fashion. He was often referred to as “The Sharpest Man in Huntsville, Alabama from head to toe”, “The Suit Man” and “Big Pimpin“.  Robert loved and enjoyed being with his family and friends. His favorite pastime activities were gardening (flowers) in his yard, taking photos and grilling before his health begin to fail.

The wonderful memories of his life will forever be cherished by his family:  one daughter, Ms. Tiffany Nicole Wellington; one son, Mr. Derrick Wellington; one grandson, Konnor Wellington, all of Huntsville, AL; two brothers:  Mr. Samuel Brazelton of Guntersville, AL, and Mr. Nate Brazelton of Huntsville, AL; two uncles: Mr. Clyde (Paulette) Cross of Owens Cross Roads, AL and Mr. Wallace Cross of Huntsville, AL; three aunts: Mrs. Carrie (Benny) Isabelle of Lawrenceville, GA, Mrs. Helen Cross of Flint, MI and Pastor Belia J. Conttrell of Villa Rica, GA; one niece, 2 nephews, a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023, Berkley Community Cemetery (Berkley Community Cemetery Gurley, Alabama) with Reverend Joe Kelly officiating.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
