Funeral services for Robert Curtis Halbrook, age 75, will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at 11 AM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN with Jimmy McCall officiating. Military Honor Services will be Wednesday January 29, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Parkers Crossroads TN State Veteran Cemetery where Mr. Halbrook will be buried. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday January 29, 2025, starting at 9 AM until service time 11 AM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN.
Mr. Halbrook passed away on January 23, 2025, at Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Mr. Halbrook was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a retiree from the TN National Guard. After his retirement from the TN National Guard, he served the veterans of Gibson Co. as the Veterans Service Officer in Trenton, TN. Following his service as the Veterans Service Officer he worked parttime at Shelton Funeral Home for several years.
Mr. Halbrook was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa (Pollard) Halbrook; his parents, William and Ozelle (Mathenia) Halbrook; and a brother William Halbrook.
Mr. Halbrook is survived by two daughters, Kelly Aldridge of Martin, TN and Amanda Crenshaw of Crestview, FL; a son, Curtis Brian Halbrook of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Lisa Lindsey; an aunt, Ruth Taylor; and eight grandchildren.
