Robert “Boozie” Neal Garner, age 81, of Florence, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Aline Garner; brother, Joe Garner; sister, Mary Wylie.
Survivors are his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Evelyn Garner; children, Steve Garner (Janice), Jeff Formby (Kim), and Robyn Garner; brother, Bud Garner; grandchildren, Owen Formby (Rachel), Austin Garner, Ryan Cole (Riley), and Lilli Miller; great-grandchildren, Bo and Benjamin Formby, Rowan Garner, and River Cole.
“Boozie” loved fishing, fishing, and fishing, watching Alabama football and loved his Arizona girls to come home. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 17th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A Celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Tommy Johnson and friends conducting the service. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Special thanks to Long Lewis Ford and Alliance Cancer Society for their love and care.
