Robert “Bobby” Vickery 66 of Jacksonville Alabama passed away on April 14, 2025 in the presence of his immediate family. Bobby was born on March 26, 1958 to Robert “Bob” Vickery and Martha Jean Vickery at Ft. McClellan in Anniston Alabama.
Bobby and Selena Ayers were married January 29, 1979 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was employed by Federal Mogul then Keystone Foods (Tysons) where he retired at the age of 65. He loved hunting, fishing, playing softball, and coaching/watching his daughters play their many sports. His most recent love was watching his three grandchildren participate in sports, playing outside, and other activities. Bobby (Bullet Bob as he was loving called) always loved having a loyal companion which consisted of three German shepherds and a beagle over the years.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Selena Ayers Vickery, Children Amber (Brandon) Russell, Tara (Justin) Buckles, Grandchildren Addison Russell, Ava Russell, Fischer Buckles, Mother Martha Jean Vickery, Sister Tina (Bart) Chandler, Brother in law Rod Davis, Brother and sister in law Gary (Shelley) Newell and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Father Robert “Bob” Vickery, Sister Susan Davis, Allen Ayers, Sherry Harris, Barry Ayers, and Judy Tolleson.
There will be a visitation at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East AL to honor Mr. Vickery on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 2PM to 4PM for those of you who would like to join.
