It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Jonathon “Tater” Wilkins, Born on December 14, 1980 in Anniston AL, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 31, 2025 at 44 years of age.
Jonathon was survived by his mother Kathy Sorrell (Bucky), father Jeff Wilkins (Tracy); grandmother Sue Wilkins; sisters Kristal Young, and Kyndelle Wilkins; brother Jonah Wilkins, niece Makayla Young, and two daughters Miley and Chloe Wilkins whom he loved more than life itself. Jonathon was passionate about life and gave 110% to any challenge he faced. He was always willing to help anyone he could and was a true Cowboy at heart.
A celebration of life will be held in his memory on Saturday May 10th 11am-12pm at Asberry Baptist Church (3682 Roy Webb Rd. Jacksonville AL. 36265) Pastor Jeff McElroy will be officiating. The church will begin accepting flowers at 9am. He will truly be missed by all who had the gift of knowing him.
