Robert “Bob” Daniel Hyde, age 62, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his residence.
Bob worked hard throughout his life. He took very good care of his mother during the days before her death, and it gave him a purpose. He enjoyed being a volunteer at Russellville Healthcare. He loved being outside, working in his plants, and was a diehard Alabama fan. He was the biggest animal lover ever. He loved his family, but his pets were his world, and he knew they loved him unconditionally.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Elizabeth Hyde Leard (Andrew), Daniel Hyde; grandchildren, Layla Armstrong-Nash, Aurora Nash, Mason Hyde-Leard; brother, Tom Hyde (Gwen); sister, Harriett Williams (Larry); nieces & nephews, Kristina Knight (Jonathan), Kelly Partrich (David), Cameron Williams (Allison), Madison Hyde, Lindsay Hyde; several great-nieces & nephews; best friend of 42 years, Mitzi Dowdy; aunts, Betty Freemon, Pat Williams; host of cousins and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Hyde & Verna Beth Hyde Bradley; step-father, Wilburn Bradley; grandparents, Elizabeth Taylor Hawkins, Burnie Hyde; and several aunts & uncles.
A private burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
