Mr. Mose Lee Sudduth, Jr., age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Sudduth was born August 15, 1952, in Dothan, AL, to the late Mose Lee Sudduth, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Sudduth. Mr. Sudduth received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State where he played football, then went on to law school at Ole Miss. He practiced law in Columbus and Vernon, and belonged to the Mississippi Bar Association and Alabama Bar Association. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball and golf, and riding horses. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Sudduth.
The family has chosen cremation and will have a memorial service Wednesday, March 22, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with friends and family speaking. A visitation will be prior to the service 1:00-2:00 PM.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Sudduth, of Vernon, AL; one son, Jordan Sudduth (Brandi Walters) of New Hope, MS; one daughter, Dr. Ashley Sudduth of Vernon, AL; two friends, Jeff Navaroo and Dewey Petigo; and a host of other friends and family.
