A Celebration of Life service for Robbie Johnson Rothwell, 90 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Holly Cemetery. Bro. Carl Weeden and Bro. Mickey Trammell will officiate the service. Mrs. Rothwell passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was born October 22, 1927 in Chewalla, TN to Mansel Edgar Johnson and Evie Ilene Moore Johnson. She retired from ATT as a secretary. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Tate Baptist Church. Robbie is survived by her granddaughter, Samantha Cody (Cody Watson); her sister, Patricia Johnson of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Cody; her father, Mansel Edgar Johnson; her mother, Evie Ilene Moore Johnson and her sisters, Aunita Michael and Olivia Mathis. Pallbearers will be Cody Watson, Ronnie Mathis, Rickey Mathis, Jerry Mathis, Jamie Teeters, Jim Kirksey and Wayne Watson. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital or Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main Street, Tupelo, MS 39901.
