Funeral services for Mrs. Rita McCollum Young, age 95, are scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Scotts Hill Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Scotts Hill is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Young passed away Monday in Parsons. She was born June 23, 1917 in Scotts Hill to the late John and Cumi Patterson McCollum. She was a WWII U. S. Army Nurse and worked as a registered nurse for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Warren Young, and her son, John Young. She is survived by 3 grandchildren.
