Rita Gail Crocker, 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born November 21, 1965, in Tupelo, to George and Bobbie Alene Thomas Rankin. She worked at Dollar General in Smithville for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed listening to music and loved animals and being around family.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Robert Crocker officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Vince Crocker of Smithville; her parents, George and Bobbie Alene Rankin; one daughter, Sara Roberts (Cole) of Fulton; one son, Matthew Crocker (Angela) of Ocean Springs, MS; two grandsons, Christian Crocker and Mason Crocker; two sisters, Renee West (Randy) and Rhonda Kay Bennett (Billy); several ,nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Arville and Emma Dee Thomas; her paternal grandparents, Henry and Virgie Rankin; her mother-in-law, Nadine Crocker; sister-in-law, Beth Crocker; two uncles, Bobby Joe Rankin and George Edward Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Lee Farris, T.J. Crocker, Andy Crocker, Chris Farris, and Shane West.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
