Richard H. Boyd, 73, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at his home, after a brief battle with cancer. Richard worked as the Plant Engineer at Prestolite in Decatur until his retirement in 1994. Survivors include daughter, Melissa Lowe and husband Bradley, grandchild, Camden, and brother, Gary Boyd. He was predeceased by parents, Richard (Dick) and Martha Boyd, wife, Millie Boyd, and granddaughter, Carsyn Lowe. At Richard’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, Richard requested memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
