Richard Ellis Olive, age 80, passed away March 8, 2026, after a long illness. He was born in Florence on September 19, 1945.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph R. Olive and Lucille Trousdale Olive.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Freda Williams Olive; two sons, Jason Olive (Tavia) of Gilbert, AZ and Matthew Olive of Rockwood, TN; two granddaughters, Phoebe Elizabeth of Richmond, VA and Lila Meredith of Gilbert, AZ.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
