Rex Warren Adams, 89, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on November 17, 2015 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. Rex was born on January 11, 1926 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Herman Warren and Maude Aughtman Adams. He retired as a Lab Technician for VR Wesson in Lake Bluff. He moved to the Ormond Beach, FL area with his wife in 2004 from Gurnee, IL. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Waukegan and of Community Baptist Church in Bunnell. Rex enjoyed sports.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Walton cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ruth Taylor Adams; daughter, Linda Adams Ryckman of Waukegan, IL; two sons, Ronald Charles (Jean) Adams of Tampa, FL and Gary Wayne (Danny Grzesiak) Adams of Dover, FL; Four Grandchildren, Rachel Ryckman, Rebecca Ryckman(John) Bauer, Jacob (Shanique) Ryckman, and Jeremy Adams; and two Great- Grandchildren, Delilah Ryckman and Jack Bauer.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dan Ryckman.
Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
