Janis Elizabeth Hughes, 69, of Florence, AL, passed away November 19, 2015, after an extended illness. Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by: Son: Kevin Hughes and wife Donna of Florence
Daughter: Kelley Jones and Fiancé Tim Anderson of Waynesboro, TN
Brother: Travis Fields of Florence
Sisters: Eva Nell Clifton of Loretto, TN; Peggy Freeze of Florence; and Brenda Gresham of Florence
Grandchildren: Tyson Johnston, Tori Johnston Jones (Tyler), Maggie Odle, Rebecca Hughes, and Ryan Hughes
She was preceded in death by parents Crite James Fields and Grace Thornton Fields; brother Coy Fields; and sister Judy Fields.
Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2015, from 6-8:30 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bill Hubble officiating. Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyson Johnston, Tyler Jones, Larry Hughes, Timmy Anderson, Freddie Johnston, and Bill Barrow.
