Mrs. Rena Stidger O’Barr, age 86, of the Morgan City area, passed away on August 23, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. O’Barr was born on June 2, 1932 in Morgan County to Thomas & Kathleen Stidger. She was formerly worked Hayes International in Huntsville. Mrs. O’Barr enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Mrs. O’Barr is survived by her husband, Raymond “Ray” O’Barr Jr.; sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy O’Barr & Karen, Terry O’Barr & Ashley; sister, Shelby Thomas; grandchildren, Brad O’Barr; step grandchildren, Megan Young & Keenan Harry; step great grandchildren, Zoey McMahon. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patsy Lamme; brother, W.D. Stidger.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2018 at Brindlee Mtn. Chapel, Morgan City with Bro. Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery with Brindlee Mtn. Chapel & Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2018 at Brindlee Mtn. Chapel, Morgan City.
