Glenn Posey, age 82, of Lynn, Alabama, passed away August 23, 2018 at his home. He served in the United States Navy, a member of Natural Bridge Church of Christ, had served as a Minister for 57 years.
Visitation is Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Ninth Avenue Church of Christ, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., with Will Hodge, Josh Posey, Rusty Pettus and Vance Hutton speaking, with his son Mark Posey delivering the message. Burial will be in Lynn Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Hayden Hodge, Hunter Hodge, Tim Hodge, Greg Pendley, Russell Whisenant and Andrew Clayton.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 62 years, Iris Halcomb Posey; children, Glenda Posey Hodge, her husband Tim and Mark Nichols Posey, his wife Pauli; sister, Clezell Lynn; brothers, Travis Posey and Wayne Posey; grandchildren Kayla Posey Clayton, her husband Drew, Josh Posey, his wife Morghan, Will Hodge, his wife Lydia, Hayden Hodge and Hunter Hodge; great grandchildren, West Clayton and Sidon Posey.
Preceded in death by, parents Nelson and Alpha Posey; sister Gladys James and brother Dallas Posey.
