Rella Marie Simmons, age 63, of Winchester formerly of Livingston, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Livingston on April 28, 1958 to the late William Edward and Mildred Melton Daniel. Rella loved to watch scary movies and celebrate Halloween and the fall season. She enjoyed history, reading, antiques, and old architecture. Rella liked to spend time outside, living off the grid with her husband and dogs, Poppy and Chief. She will be remembered as a stubborn but also kind, loving and happy woman. Rella was a great mom and a wonderful wife. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-two years, Mark Simmons; children, Stephen Simmons and Stephanie Simmons; beloved dogs, Poppy and Chief; brothers, Robert (Charlotte) Daniel and Richard (Sandra) Daniel; brothers-in-law, Dan (Debbie) Simmons and Tom Simmons; niece, Tabitha Daniel; nephew, Douglas (Ellyce) Simmons; cousin, Terry Daniel and many close friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kelso Cemetery.
