Mose Lemuel Gass, age 70 of Cowan, TN, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on August 10, 1951 in Winchester to the late Jesse Lee and JoAnn Gass. Mose enjoyed hunting fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his animals, especially his beloved dog, Lola. Mose loved the outdoors and was an Eagle Scout. He worked as a draftsman at Trane in Clarksville for over 10 years, then as an electrician until he retired. He will be remembered as being a loving husband, brother, son, uncle and friend. He was always the life of the party and would dance the night away. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Gass and beloved dog, Lola. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Hazel Evans Gass; brother, Gary (Diane) Gass of Cowan; sister-in-law, Barbara Lamb Gass of Belvidere; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 11:00am in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment will follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with Brandon Evans, Kelly Gass, Jesse Speck, Josh Evans, Damon Walker and Lester Evans serving as pallbearers.
