Reka Kay Threet, 54, passed away July 5, 2017.
Reka was born in Florence, Alabama to Dan Larry Threet and Edith Odell Thomas Threet Christiano on April 1, 1963. She was a graduate of Bradshaw High School and Northwest-Shoals Community College. Reka was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.
Family, friends, and doing hair were Reka’s passion and joy in life. She loved to cook and entertain with her friends. Reka had a kind, compassionate heart and made friends easily. Her beautiful, contagious smile could light up even the darkest of days.
Reka was preceded in death by both of her parents and one brother, Randy Threet.
Reka is survived by her daughter, Nellie Biddle, of Starkville, Mississippi; two brothers, Ricky Threet, of Killen, Alabama, and Ron (Tisa) Threet, of Florence, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Florence, Alabama on July 14, 2017, from 4-6 p.m.
