Reginald Wayne Day, age 59, of Elkmont died January 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born February 12, 1966 in Limestone County, Alabama to Jimmy Harold Day and Virginia Ruth Evans Day. Mr. Day was a member of the church of Christ and a machinist at Snap-on Tools. He is survived by his father Jimmy Day of Elkmont, his son Hunter (Brooke) Day of Elkmont, his daughter, Kaitlyn Day of Athens, his sister Taffie Day of Elkmont, his grandchildren, Laikyn Day, Hayden Day, and Brayden Day. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Day.
The family will have a visitation available from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8th at Spry Funeral Home of Athens. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 9th at Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont with the following pallbearers: Mike Compton, Jamie Hobbs, Brian Behrens, Matthew Compton, Hunter Day, and Kaitlyn Day. Honorary Pallbearer will be David Hargrove
