GOLDEN, MS-An auto accident in Golden, Mississippi on Monday, February 6 claimed the life of 17-year-old Bradley Wilemon of Red Bay, Alabama.
Wilemon was traveling westbound in a 2002 Ford Mustang when he attempted to pass two vehicles. While passing the two vehicles, Wilemon collided head-on with an eastbound Chevrolet truck, driven by Tarin Puckett, 22, also of Red Bay according to authorities.
Wilemon was airlifted to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where he later died and Puckett was also taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The drivers of the two vehicles Wilemon passed were not hurt, however, their vehicles were damaged in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
