Rebecca “Becky” Maureen McCormick Bowling, age 78, passed away on July 25, 2026. The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Chad Holder officiating the service. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia. The pallbearers will be Chrispin Montgomery, Hunter Montgomery, Phillip Letsinger, Zach Davis, Tanner Bowling, and Alf Welborn.
Becky was a nurse for over thirty years at Shoals Hospital. She was a member of Leighton Methodist Church. Becky loved flowers and owned a greenhouse for years. She enjoyed creating beautiful arrangements and providing those for others.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Douglas Bowling; and parents, William & Vera (Britton) McCormick.
She is survived by her children, William Blake Bowling (Christy), Amanda Beth Welborn (Alf); sister, Sarah Montgomery Hubbard (C.L.); grandchildren, Karley Davis (Zach), Tanner Bowling, Macey Welborn; and great-grandchild, Jett Davis.
