Hayden Dwayne Sims,47, of Elkton, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2026, in Elkton, Tennessee.
He was born on Thursday, October 26, 1978, to Jerry Sims and Charlene Fanning in Andalusia, Alabama
Hayden was an electrical engineer and explored his passion for electronics and sound by entering his Saturn in competitions that combined the two. He would go on to win many competitions showcasing his many skillsets, including auto stereos. He was also of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by step-grandson; Jake Hambay.
Hayden is survived by his wife; Kelley Sims, one son, Hayden Jeremiah Sims, one step-son; Zane (Haley) Hambay, one step-daughter; Britany (Dustin) Barnett, one sister: Heather Burrough, five step-grandchildren: Raylynn Collins, Zaley Hambay, Hunter Hambay, Joshua Clem, Payton Barnett, one nephew; Cody Burrough, as well as one loving friend; Dwayne Griffin.
A Visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A Chapel Service will follow the visitation with service time beginning at 3:00 PM. Pastor Johnny Clardy will officiate the service.
