Reba Roden Cox, age 87, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on November 1, 2025. Reba worked for many years at Redstone Arsenal before her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she cherished the time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Chalmus Roden and Edna Benefield Roden; her husband, John Cox; son, Ferrell Roden; daughter-in-law, Patricia North Roden; step-son, Philip Cox; brother, John Roden; sister-in-law, Virginia “Ginger” Herlihy Roden; and brother-in-law, Vaudus Creel, along with Ronald Creel.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Natasha Roden; step-granddaughter, Jessica Cox; sisters, Jeanette Creel and Carol Creel; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Jervis Young officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local food pantry, in honor of Reba’s lifelong spirit of generosity and care for others.
