Charles Wayne Bolton (Fargo), of Albertville, Alabama, passed away peacefully November 2 at Shepard’s Cove. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend to many.
Charles is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 51 years, Reba Bolton; his daughter, Hannah Wylie (Chris); his brother, Richard Bolton (Pat); and four cherished grandchildren, Annie Charleston, Garner Reed, Preston Christopher, and Josselyn Kate. In addition, he is survived by many sisters and brothers in law and their children.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Katherline Bolton, and his sister, Kathy and his father, JW Bolton.
Charles had a heart for people and a deep love for his family. He was a hard worker having worked for Dunlop Tires, Monsanto, and AmeriCold Logistics. He was known for going out of his way to make sure everyone around him felt loved, cared for, and at home. A talented craftsman, he found great joy in carpentry—building, fixing, and creating with his hands. Charles will also be remembered for his quick-witted sense of humor, steady presence, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 pm. A private family burial will take place at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
