Raybon Butler McGee was born May 8, 1939 in Alcorn County, MS the son of the late Tomie and Lillie Mae Littlejohn McGee.
Mr. McGee was a farmer and logger . He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ in Michie, Tennessee. He enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo and the harmonica. He liked singing and listening to bluegrass. He was an avid gardener and fisherman.
Mr. McGee proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. McGee departed this life on August 9, 2015 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 3 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his soulmate, Geraldine Gray McGee of Savannah, TN; two sons, Johnny McGee of Counce, TN, Anthony McGee and wife Cherish of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Stephanie Flatt and husband Aaron of Savannah, TN; three brothers, Gene McGee of Murfreesboro, TN, Reubon McGee of Biggersville, MS, Rhebon McGee of Michie, TN; three sisters, Ruby Massengill of Savannah, TN, Reba Benjamin of Corinth, MS, Reda Adae of Michie, TN; four grandchildren, Colton Flatt and wife Katie of Michie, TN, Dillon Flatt of Savannah, TN, Riley Flatt of Savannah, TN, Walker McGee of Ramer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by a brother, Buford McGee.
