Ray Rowell, age 69 of Ashland, passed away May 21, 2026 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County and worked at Madix and Integrity Cabinets but spent most of his working life driving long haul. He loved hunting and fishing and was a huge Alabama fan.
He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy Rowell; two sons, Cody Rowell and Jody Ray Rowell; siblings, Elgin Rowell and Maxine, Becky Kisner and Randy, Barbara Rowell, Michael Rowell and Eric Rowell; sister-in-law, Kim Liner and Kent; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Adell Rowell and siblings, Troy Rowell, Phyllis Smith, Doug Rowell and Tim Rowell.
A memorial may be scheduled at a later date.
