Ray Albert Chapman, age 81, of Phil Campbell, AL, died Thursday, March 26, 2015.
There will be a memorial gathering at his home in Phil Campbell on Saturday, April 4, 2015, beginning at noon. Colorful casual attire please.
Ray was a U. S. Army retiree and veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Alberta Chapman, his wife, Arminda Kay Chapman and sister, Verna Swaim.
He is survived by his son, Terril Ray Chapman; daughters, Melody Hylton (Ronald), Rashawn Quillen (Jack), brother, Dwight Chapman (Opal), brother-in-law, Vern Swaim, and eight grandchildren.
