Randy Michael “Mike” Boyd, 75, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Red Bay, AL and worked as a machine mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army and attended New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 23, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three children – Michelle Raper, Melissa Swindle (Dale) and Michael Boyd (Alison); grandchildren – Casey Swindle, Haley Holloway (Jacob), Harlee Montgomery (Kole), Brett Raper and Bailey Boyd; great-grandchildren – Louisa Grace Holloway and Liam Holloway; one brother – Don Boyd (Rhonda) and one sister – Peggy Sue Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Alta Shewbart Boyd.
