Funeral Services for Mrs. Lisa Yvonne Hammock age 65 of Ashland will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home Ashland with Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hammock was a resident of Clay County Alabama, worked as a care giver for the elderly for several years, and enjoyed her flower beds, cooking and baking. She was known to make the best sweet potato pie around.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Hammock of Ashland; 2 sisters, Judy Brooks (Mike) Ashland and Darlene Harris (Jimmy) Ashland and one brother Travis Mitchell (LuLu) Ashland. Also, she is survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Hilton Mitchell and Ella Louise Mitchell.
Active Pallbearers will be Roger Hammock, Matthew Mitchell, Jeremy Harris, Cameron Harris, Olivia Stough, Davey Holcombe, Barry Stough, and Adam Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 9:30A.M. until 11A.M.
Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland will be in charge of the arrangements.
