Rachelle Marthaler Kilpatrick, age 32, of Muscle Shoals died Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Her family will receive friends Friday, 11-1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Rachelle was a Colbert County native and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She graduated from Muscle Shoals High School with Honors then went on to get her RN license through Northwest Shoals, Phil Campbell. She worked at Helen Keller Hospital for four years then retired to become a homemaker and full time Mother. She loved her family and Alabama football, was a faithful Christian and she gave the gift of life through organ donation. She was preceded in death by her son, Jase Alexander Kilpatrick and grandmother; Ruth Marthaler and aunt Beth Ann Marthaler.
She is survived by her mother, Vicki Johnson Marthaler of Tuscumbia; father, Rufus “Benji” Marthaler Jr., of Muscle Shoals; son, Casen Blayne Kilpatrick of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Olivia Jayne McCravy of Florence; brother, Rufus “Benji” Marthaler III and wife Amber of Texarkana; grandfather, Rufus B. Marthaler Sr. of Leighton; uncle and aunt, Tibbis and Tammy Johnson; cousins, Brent and Megan Johnson.
Pallbearers are Rufus B. Marthaler Jr., Tibbis Johnson, Greg Kennedy, Tommy Terry, Tommy Husley and Brian Hall.
