Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Jones, age 89, are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Jones passed away early Thursday in Parsons. She was born May 7, 1932 in Humphreys County to the late Walter and Rosla Spence Ethridge. She was a retired Scotts Hill Leasure Wear employee and enjoyed gardening, singing, and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Glen L. Jones. Survivors include her two sons, Jerry Jones (Jean) and Wayne Jones (Kimberly); five grandchildren, Emily Lawler (Chuck), Cameron Jones (Tara), Justin Jones, Whitney Jones, and Brennen Jones; and three great grandchildren, Patrick Newsom, Hudson Jones, and Teagan Jones. The family will receive friends on Friday, 6-9 PM and on Saturday, 10 AM- 2 PM. All visitors should wear a mask and observe Covid guidelines. The family has requested no food.
