Rachel was a hard worker all of her life until rheumatoid arthritis disabled her several years ago. Although she struggled and went through many hard times during her life, she always there for everyone who needed her, even a stranger if they were in need she would help them. Her Christ like heart for helping and giving is something she will always be remembered for. She loved everyone!
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 at Scottsboro Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna King officiating. Interment will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rachel is survived by 5 children, Genia Baugh (Ollie-Shorty), Brenda Bell, Lisa Sparkman (Daniel), Daniel Johnson, and Bryan Johnson; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Loyd Johnson; parents, Jesse and Martha Gladys Sneed Ginn; brother, Buddy Ginn; and sister, Mary Davis.
