Mr. Howard Ray Smith, age 72, of Woodville passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Arnold and Rev. Jacob Cornelison officiating. Interment will follow at Austell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday November 2, 2018 from 5:00 till 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Edna Smith; sons, Stevie Smith, Jim (Melinda) Smith, and Calvin Cornelison; daughter, Patricia Wilson; grandkids, Dylan Smith, Cassidy Smith, Levi Smith, Dakota Smith, Dallas Smith, Dalton Smith, DeAnn (Tim) Sampson, Jacob (Melissa) Cornelison, and Rebekah Foshee; great grandkids, Nicole and Morgan Cornelison, Colton (Kristen) Sampson, and Ally Sampson; brother, Chuck (Connie) Smith; sisters, Barbara (Oscar) Maynor and Patricia (Bobby) Southerd; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Pearl Smith; parents, Joseph and Annie Sue Smith; brothers, Billy Smith, William Smith, Joe Smith, and Jimmy Ray Smith; and a sister, Betty Clark.
