Funeral Services for Mrs. Rachel Elaine “Mae” Harrison, age 70 of Wadley, will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Union Motley Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Ray Huddleston officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison passed away on Friday, September 2, 2025 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. She was a faithful member for many years to Union Motley Baptist Church. “Ms Mae” loved reading her bible and singing.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jason) Atkisson and 4 other children; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Thomas; brother, Jim(Angela) Patterson; great-nieces and nephews, Erin, Sawyer, Kylee and Caleb; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: J.W. and Mary Brooks; brother, Lonnie Leonard Patterson and Steve Brooks; one step-son and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Richard Halsey, Tim Patterson, Chris Patterson, Larry Estes, Joseph Halsey and Jerry Bice.
Her visitation will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Union Motley Baptist Church beginning at 9:30 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.
