Rachel Ann Ikerman Hean, age 58, of Huntsville, AL passed away at Huntsville Hospital after a brief illness and gallant battle for recovery. She was surrounded by family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in chapel at 2:00 p.m. Brother Randy Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be at Popular Creek Cemetery. A model daughter and sister, she was known for her kindness, forgiveness, and an infinite list of other admirable attributes. We’ve lost a precious treasure of great value, but she will never be forgotten. She is survived by father, Jim Ikerman and wife Carol of Ackworth, GA; mother Barbara Maattanen and husband George of Ringold, GA. Brother Jay Ikerman and wife Angelia, nephews, Justin Ikerman, Brad Ikerman and wife Katie, all of Athens, AL., and numerous Aunts and Uncles. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Francis and Edith Ikerman of Selma, AL, and Ruth Murray of Chattanooga, TN.
