Rabon Cercey Colbert, 88, of Toney, Alabama passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Colbert lived in the Toney community for the majority of his life where he was of the Full Gospel faith. In his free time, he enjoyed doing small engine work, helping his friends and family with their lawn care, and camping in the great outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, King Soloman Colbert and American Naomi Colbert, 11 brothers and sisters, as well as one daughter, Beverly Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gail Colbert, one daughter, Kim (Richard) Colbert, four grandchildren: April Jackson, Amanda Jackson, Jessica (Chris) Yarbrough, and Garrick (Felicia) Faulk, six great grandchildren: Savannah, Brittany, Danielle, Destinee, Harper, and Wyatt, as well as one great great grandchild, Juleeia.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Colbert at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled to begin immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery located in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
