Quilla Joy Dotson, age 80, of Nauvoo, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Highway 5 Church of God, with burial at Ashbank Cemetery. Johnny Hopgood will officiate.
Mrs. Dotson was preceded in death by her Husband-Purvis H. Dotson; Daughter-Yasamini Grimes; Father-Lewis Smith; Mother-Martha Nelson Smith; Brother-Louis Smith, Jr.
She is survived by her Daughter-Tammy Key (Timmy); Sons-Donny H. Dotson, Stanley P. Dotson (Samantha) and Jamie Dotson; Son-in-law-Floyd Grimes; Sisters-Mary Carey and Georgia Barnett; Sister-in-law-Rita Smith; Brothers-William (Bill) Andrew Smith (Melva) and Carlos E. Smith (Shelby); 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Dotson, Josh Dotson, Floyd Grimes, Johnathan Grimes, Greg Dotson, Jeremy Key and Justin Dotson.
