James Wheat, 81, of Clifton passed away April 3rd at Wayne Medical Center.
Born on January 9, 1936 in Wayne County, James was the son of the late Russell and Eddie Lineberry Wheat. He is survived by his sons: Ricky (Debbie) Wheat and Jerry Wheat; sister: Dola Holt; and grandchildren: Whitney Lynn and Mariah Lee. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
