MILLINGTON, TN – The Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking public comment on its draft environmental assessment for a proposed solar generating facility located in Millington, Tenn. TVA would purchase power from the proposed 53-megawatt Millington Solar Facility for up to 20 years, pending the outcome of the assessment.
The draft environmental assessment evaluates the anticipated environmental impacts of the construction and operation of the 390 acre solar generating facility and associated electrical connections.
Comments on the draft Environmental Assessment must be received on or before November 27, 2017.
