EVA — The Town of Eva invites the community and visitors from across the region to celebrate Eva Frontier Days on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in downtown Eva, Alabama. The beloved annual festival blends small-town charm with exciting contests, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.

The festivities begin early with both the Arts & Crafts Show and the Tractor and Car Show, kicking off at 9:00 a.m. Festivalgoers can enjoy shopping local handmade goods, exploring classic cars, and browsing antique tractors before the day’s main events get underway.

At 11:00 a.m., the streets of downtown Eva will fill with excitement as the Frontier Days Parade rolls through town. Immediately following, festival traditions take center stage:

    • 11:45 a.m. – Pig Calling Contest
  • 12:00–2:00 p.m. – Live music by Primitive Road at the Entertainment Tent
  • 1:00 p.m. – Crosscut Saw Contest
  • 1:30 p.m. – Hay Stacking Contest
  • 3:30 p.m. – Frog Jumping Contest
  • 4:30 p.m. – Pig Chase at the ballfields

Food vendors will be on site throughout the day, serving up festival favorites to keep everyone fueled for the fun.

Events Leading Up to Frontier Days

Eva Frontier Days is more than just a single Saturday—it’s a weeklong celebration of community. Leading up to the big day, residents and guests are invited to take part in these special events:

  • Tuesday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. – Community Hayride at Eva School. Rides are just $1.00 each, with a free hotdog and drink at the end of the ride. (No pets allowed.)
  • Thursday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. – Community Singing at Eva Baptist Church. Enjoy an evening of fellowship and worship with old-fashioned hymn book singing.

A Celebration of Tradition and Community

Eva Frontier Days is one of the town’s longest-running traditions, offering contests that celebrate the area’s agricultural roots alongside music, food, and fun for the whole family. The event provides an opportunity to honor Eva’s heritage while making memories for generations to come.
