Funeral services for Phyllis Mary Jordon, age 96 of New Port Richey, Florida, will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial will follow in the Mellow Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Wheeles officiating.
Mrs. Jordon passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Meauwataka, Michigan and a former resident of Palm Beach, Florida. She also lived in Mellow Valley for twenty years before moving to New Port Richey, Florida where she had lived for the past four years. Mrs. Jordon worked in a commercial credit accounting department and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Jordon of New Port Richey, FL; one son, Kim Jordon (Patti) of Sylacauga; three grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
Mrs. Jordon was preceded in death by her parents Charles Delmar Eilar and Etheleen Mapes Eilar; her husband, James Jordon; one granddaughter, Rene Jordon; two brothers and five sisters.
