Phyllis Ann Weaver Henry was born February 1, 1937 in Tullahoma, TN to the late R. T. Weaver and Lucille Reavis Weaver Jackson. She passed away February 2, 2025 in Mathiston, MS. She enjoyed reading, sewing, growing and arranging flowers, and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Ann Henry of Sturgis, MS and step-father, Alvin Jackson of Sturgis, MS.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jack L. Henry of Sturgis, MS; son, Mark Henry (Tracy) of Starkville, MS; daughter, Jackie Henry Savage (Mike) of Caledonia, MS; brother, James Jackson (Martie) of Smithville, MS; four grandchildren, Ashlie Savage McEwen (Derrick) of Caledonia, MS, Katie Savage Gillon (John Daniel) of Caledonia, MS, Cortney Henry Thompson (Hugh) of Nashville, TN, and Shelli Henry Scott (Cameron) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and four great-grandchildren, Lucy McEwen and Josie Gillon, both of Caledonia, MS and Opal and Silas Scott, both of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
