Phillip Owen Ramsey born August 1,1954 in Gadsden Alabama passed away after a battle with cancer on April 5,2023.He is proceeded in death by his parents Zed and Betty Ramsey, Granddaughter Haylee Dowdy and Nephew Stephen Stevens.
Phillip leaves behind his wife and best friend of 38 years Robin Ramsey. Daughter Ronna Watts(Jimmy),Stepdaughters Crystal Bennett(Danny) and Debbie Moon(late Wesley)Grandkids Braxton Dowdy, Kimberly Ralston(Jonathan),Bailey Grizzle ,Bryon Allgood, Jayden Watts, Danny Bennett Jr, Shelby Bennett and Wesley Moon Jr. Great Grandson Jaxson Ralston, Sister Peggy Stevens(Jack) Brother Hoyt Ramsey(Susan) as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Phillip had a love for his family and friends. He enjoyed Nascar, Alabama Football and his fur babies. He was employed with Watts Construction Company and a longtime member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Gasden Alabama.
A celebration of his life will be held April 15,2023 at 1:00 at Edgewood Baptist Church with Brother Bart Watts officiating.
