Funeral Service for Phillip Dwight Burgess, 63 of Somerville will be Monday August 20, 2018 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Equator Black officiating with burial in the Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-1:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Burgess was born November 12, 1954 in Hartselle, AL to James Rufus Burgess and Linnie Legg Burgess. He passed away Saturday August 18, 2018 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. He was a Life Long employee of Bob Gibson Barbecue. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 Brother, Leon Burgess.
