Perlie Barton Pickard, age 97, Bear Creek, AL. passed away Monday April 1, 2024 at her home. She was retired from Haleyville Textile and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Thursday April 4, 2024 from 12:00NOON – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial to follow in Mountain Home Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Willard Pickard; daughter, Vickie (James) Loden; sister, Faye Thrasher; brothers, Edward Barton and Barthel Barton; grandchildren, Eric (Jyl) Loden and Adam (Kaci) Loden; great grandchildren, Joanna Loden, Bethany Loden and Grayson Loden; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Luvenia Barton; sisters, Velmer Chamless, Imogene Mann, Clara Benson, Bernice Banks and Jo Ann Barton.
The family would like to Thank, Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for the care and love that was given to Perlie and the family.
