Peggy Reeves Smith, 69, of Town Creek, AL passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at residence. Visitation will be from 10:00 am till 11:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton AL. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel with Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek.
Survivors include her husband James (Gus) Smith of fifty years; one son Bo Smith (Christie); two daughters; Kim Calvin, and Sonya Williams (Dobob); seven grandchildren Morgan Smith, Ambrea Smith, Massie Calvin, Payton Williams, Savanna Williams, Harlie Smith, and Colt Smith; seven great grandchildren; three brothers Ronnie Reeves, Micheal Reeves, and Mark Reeves; five sisters Jacklyn Bates, Jean Cockrell, Janice Reeves, Tina Nelms, and Lisa Nelms.
She was preceeded in death by father and mother Olan Reeves and Maudie Abner Reeves; brother Terry Reeves; and two sisters Betty Sue Proctor and Tammy Reeves
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Nelms, Micheal Nelms, Keith Cockrell, Brandon Smith, Gerald Gay, and Hershall Smith and honorary pallbearer will be Payton Williams.
